In Country Air Assault Training

This page documents training received by all Screaming Eagles in the Republic of Vietnam in the Screaming Eagle Replacement Training School (SERTS). This one week, 80 hour in country training, including an actual combat assault "outside the wire" is documented in the Department of Defense Video, "Stay Alert, Stay Alive" (available at www.militaryvideo.com). The tower photos are of the Screaming Eagle Replacement Training School at Camp Evans and were provided by Greg Thissen (Eli4982@msn.com). SERTS Training was the forerunner to the modern Air Assault School
